A full installation of -CAR seems unlikely since the issues can get very 
complex.  A partial installation on the other hand might fly.

Can you run PRTTP with PRTLEV=1 on some representative files or perhaps 
even send me one?

BTW - I have spent the last 2 weeks or so on XGAUS trying to make it 
into a very general Gaussian spectral fitting task so that it may serve 
as a platform to do RM fitting.  I am still waiting for an answer from 
you about the possible task....
