New Staff Reply: AC963 Data

I think the file is corrupted.. That's too bad, it's the only data file we
have for that date.. Somewhere along the sequence of copying from old tapes
to new tapes and to an archive disk array, we didn't get the whole file.

There's a small fraction of the historical VLA files that are corrupted..

The above is the reply from the manager of the archive.  He has indications
about other data, but what you have is all that is there now.
