New Ticket: UVAVG issues with multiple IFs

I ran UVAVG on a data set with 16 IFs.  With BIF=8;EIF=8 it works and produces an output file.  With BIF=0; EIF=0 I get: 

 UVAVG1: Task UVAVG  (release of 31DEC13) begins
 UVAVG1: UVGET: Using flag table version   1 to edit data
 UVAVG1: Create SN86 OC12Q  .UVAVG .   1 (UV)  on disk  8  cno   93
 UVAVG1: UVAVDO: ERROR  7 WRITING VIS FILE
 UVAVG1: UVAVUV: UVAVDO ERROR  5

The output file is not specified and there should be plenty of disk space, so its dieing for some more mysterious reason.  It works for 2IFs, but not for more than that.  

Also- UVFIT seems to run but has issues with the message file:
 UVFIT1: ZERROR: IN ZTXOP2 ERRNO = 30 (Read-only file system)
 UVFIT1: ERROR OPENING TEXT FILE
