New Staff Reply: Trying to install AIPS...

These messages suggest that the 
   perl -n install.pl
command had a failure and id not copy the binary
load modules to your system.  We would need to
see what that instruction said to know what
went wrong.  You could just try to repeat the
install - it is done with rsync so only those
files which did not download previously will be
downloaded.
