The problem is in your downloading of these files.  They are on our disk

The first 3130626 FITS records of 2880 bytes.  The third is 5419302 FITS records.
The fourth is 77933 records longer than the third.  The second is 5333249 2880-byte records.

AIPS should read these fine - one of two things happened I suspect

1. You did not say binary as a command to ftp before copying.  Some ftp's
   will add characters to files (line feed) when it sees "characters" it
   thinks it knows (carriage returns).
2. The ftp died during the copy or failed to detect errors.
