Some non-NRAO people have developed tools for this but none are 
currently delivered with AIPS (or even available to me).

The task DISKU can be used to give  a summary - or even detailed 
information - about what numbers are using how much disk.  But to find 
out which should be deleted - that requires switching to the number and 
reviewing what is there.  ALLDEST may be used when you find one you with 
to terminate.  Do consider backups before getting too happy with deleting.
