New Ticket: AIPS INSTALL on MAC OS X 10.6.8


Hi,

I just did a binary download for 31DEC12 and have followed all of the standard advice on the mac install page for setting display setting in the /etc folders and such.  I tried to start aips, the tk and msg servers started just fine.  I did not see the tv server spawn.  Here's the start up info that aips spits out.  I already rebooted the computer after doing the standard fixes.

There is a shared memory id failure.  Can you help me fix the problem?
