New Staff Reply: SOUINI / SUREFM error in 31DEC12 AIPS

This is a new error - different from the last.  SUREFM
clears 1 READ status and then tries to put a WRIT status on
the file.  If there were > 1 READ (possible), then this
would not work.  Perhaps UVPRT does this.  Anyway, I
can change SUREFM to loop on clearing READs - that should
arrive on the morrow.
