Thanks.  The thing is - you have 24576 spectral channels
if you wish to solve all channels at once - the gap between
IF 3 and IF 4 is >> 32 MHz causing there to be all sorts of
channels with no data in the full FFT.  4 * 24576 > 64K so AIPS
cannot do the FFT.  When you do it in halves, it finds 16384
channels in the first half and goes on happily.  This might be
not a good idea - the halves option assumes that the halves
are similar and yours are not.

I should improve this error message which dates to when it was
true.

I may increase the FFT size (= MAXIMG = MAXCHA) another factor
of 2for 31DEC12, but that has wide-ranging consequences esp if
I make MAXCHA match.
