New Ticket: MAXSOU limit in FITLD?

Some of my colleagues here have a UV dataset which contains many
pointings (as it is from drift scan observations). We have come
across a possible problem with FITLD. Although the maximum number
is sources is set (via PARAMETER MAXSOU) to 2500 in a couple of
places, in the subroutine SUCHCK within FITLD, this is set to
only 1000. Although a larger number of sources would be nice, we
can work with the limit of 2500 (which also seems to apply to
other UV tasks), but the 1000 in SUCHEK seems inconsistent with
the 2500 elsewhere in FITLD?
