[daip] new data area,

Hi，Eric，

*I intend to make a new data  area for aips, i do that as follows*

(my aips root is: /home/novae/aips31DEC11/)

*step 1: revise the file: /home/novae/aips31DEC11/DA00/DADEVS.LIST*
# This is a DADEVS list file containing a list of AIPS data directories.
# Refer to $AIPS_ROOT/DADEVS.SH for more information.
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
- /home/novae/aips31DEC11/DATA/LOCALHOST_1
- /home/novae/aips31DEC11/DATA/LOCALHOST_2     (---->>this is the new data
area,)

*step 2: revise the file: /home/novae/aips31DEC11/DA00/NETSP*
# When editing this file, DO NOT USE THE TAB KEY OR INSERT ANY TABS!
# (the tab is usually control-I).  The "white space" between parameters
# MUST be comprised of nothing but spaces.  Also, make sure the last
# line includes a newline, otherwise that data area will not be counted.

*step 3: cd /home/novae/aips31DEC11/DATA/*

then type in the terminal:
mkdir LOCALHOST_2
cd /home/novae/aips31DEC11/DATA/LOCALHOST_2
touch space

but when I start the aips: aips tv=local
the new data area can not available.

what should i do?
