New Ticket: page size of terminal


i just started trying to, in earnest, reduce some data on my new linux desktop, and AIPS seems to think that my terminal windows are all 24 lines high.  i vaguely recall that there was a way to set it so that it automatically recognized the page size, but can't for the life of me remember how to do that.  could you remind me please?
