We use icc/ifort 10.1 on our Linux 64-bit so I expect 11.1 will be fine 
and better than any gfortran.  One of our Mac users just e-mailed me 
about 11.1 which he used recently.  I have heard no complaints so far 
and he would keep me informed if there were problems.

I would set the OS to LNX64.
