New Ticket: ZTACT2 messages in AIPS

A user of AIPS 31DEC10 under Linux has a RUN file for a large data processing task which produces
many messages similar to:

?>>ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.19564 failed!
ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.22705 failed!
ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.26394 failed!
?>>ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.19564 failed!
ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.22705 failed!
ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.26394 failed!
?>>ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.19564 failed!
ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.22705 failed!
ZTACT2: stat on /tmp/IMAGR1.26394 failed!

in the error log file.    These do not always appear if the job is run again, and it's not clear whether the
processing is affected.

The quesry is:  are these messages significant (we assume they are associated with process handling
withing the RUN file),  and can they easily be avoided?
