IMEAN and verb IMSTAT work in rectangular areas.  TVSTAT verb allows you 
to set a bloth region interactively on the TV.  ISPEC is for rectangular 
regions as a function of channel in a cube.

Verb apropo is useful sometimes to find the answer to "which routine..."
