New Ticket: Problem with SPLIT and polarization calibration

Got this when I tried to SPLIT VLBA data that had had the D term polarization calibration done with LPCAL:

localh> SPLIT1: Doing subarray 1
localh> SPLIT1: UVGET: Using flag table version 2 to edit data
localh> SPLIT1: Create OJ287 .SPLIT1. 1 (UV) on disk 2 cno 30
localh> SPLIT1: Applying CL Table version 10
localh> SPLIT1: Previously flagged flagged by gain kept
localh> SPLIT1: Partially 0 15858 0
localh> SPLIT1: Fully 0 0 15858
localh> SPLIT1: New NX table written
localh> SPLIT1: Copied OB file from vol/cno/vers 2 9 1 to 2 30 1
localh> SPLIT1: Copied WX file from vol/cno/vers 2 9 1 to 2 30 1
localh> SPLIT1: Updating FREQ in AN tables
localh> SPLIT1: Resetting pol cal values in output AN tables
localh> SPLIT1: Reformatted AN file from vol/cno/vers 2 9 1 to 2 30 1
localh> SPLIT1: TABKEY: TABLE KEYWORD POLTYPE NOT FOUND
localh> SPLIT1: SPLTHI: ERROR 21 READING POLZN TYPE
localh> SPLIT1: Appears to have ended successfully
localh> SPLIT1: localhos 31DEC09 TST: Cpu= 0.8 Real= 2 IO= 29

The TABKEY and SPLTHI errors seem a bit ominous.

POLTYPE is there and is set to VLBI in the input file AN table.
It is not there in the output file, according to PRTAB.
The output file is left with a WRITE flag - another ominous sign.

I reran the identical SPLIT with DOPOL=-1 and did not get the error.
POLTYPE is not there in the output AN table.
There is no write flag.

I'm going to drop the write flag and proceed with processing. But if you know that my
data are likely corrupted, please let me know.

Here are my inputs:
