This SCREAT message should never come out.  The possibilities are a 
combination of BADDISK, disks assigned to specific user numbers not 
including the present one, and disks for which your account does not 
have write privilege.  Check the BADDISK adverb, the file 
$AIPS_ROOT/DA00/NETSP (verb FREE in aips will also show), and the data 
directories, respectively.  Some of the last 2 might appear (I forget) 
in the startup messages.
