[daip] Problem in AIPS in Mac

FWIW I'm trying to help Poonam with this problem; the install was not a
"LAPTOP" one, the hostname changed, and I'm helping her convert her AIPS
installation to a laptop one.  Almost there at the time of writing.  

Figured I'd jump in because (a) I think Eric is away; (b) it's a
system/script/config issue with which I'm reasonably familiar; and (c)
Poonam is a former CV Jansky Postdoc.
