[daip] How to install or compile ORFIT for Mac OS?

You have two choices:

1. If you are the only user of this installation, pick a directory 
("folder") on your computer and assign an environment variable to it in 
your login.  The copy ORFIT.EXE.macint to this area renaming it simple 
ORFIT.EXE.  Also copy the help file to that same area.  To run it
set the adverb VERSION to the environment variable.  I use a work area I 
call $MYWORK so I set VERSION='MYWORK' to run test programs located there.

2. The alternative - more friendly to other users - is to copy
ORFIT.EXE.macint to $AIPS_ROOT/31DEC09.MACINT/LOAD/ORFIT.EXE
and copy the help file to $AIPS_ROOT/31DEC09/HELP/ORFIT.HLP.
Then you will not need to do any setting of VERSION (= ' ').
