[daip] AIPS install errors

Dear AIPS staff,

I asked you in Feb about my failure in binary installing AIPS
to my PC running on  MacOSX (PPC) . Eric replied me to
install cvs to avoid the Midnight jib error. After installing
cvs to my PC, I can still find the same error.
Even if I ignored this error by hitting, there are some errors
about FILAIP. I did try running FILAIP independently, but it does
not work all. Where do I check at this stage?
Why do we need to run FILAP during installation.

Should I do text installation instead of binary?
