The message above says that a request of >= 100000000 or >= 400 Mbytes 
got an error return from malloc.  I am fixing aips so this message is in 
kilo words and has more range.  My guess is that the SETMAXAP allowed is 
quite large and the computer could not at that moment meet the request.

Tomorrow's MNJ will get you a version with a better error message if you 
still are able to use the MNJ with your installation.

I will look at all the subsequent mails involving compilers and such but 
that gets into Mac OS things I know little about.
