[daip] AIPS installation (Macbook)

Hi,
I am trying to install the 31DEC08 version of AIPS on my Macbook (intel)
which runs  OS X 10.4.11.  I have installed the Mac Developer Tools.  When
I run install.pl (perl install.pl -n), it skips from screen 0 to screen 4
of the install wizard.  I can hit 'B' to go back to screens 3 and 2, but I
can't get to screen 1 where I say that I want to download the tarball.

I am running this on an X11 terminal.  CVS is included in the developer
tools package right?

Are you familiar with my problem?
