[daip] graphics channel problems

Hi all,

After last night's MNJ, I seem to be having a couple of problems with
the graphics channels in plotting to the TV with tasks like POSSM,
SNPLT, UVPLT, etc.  The first problem is that graphics channel 1  
(yellow),
which usually draws the axes, tick-marks, labels, etc in plotting tasks
when GRCHAN = 0 doesn't seem to be on by default.  If I issue a
TVINIT followed by a task, I get the data points plotted without
the axes, labels, etc.  I can set GRCHAN to a specific number
and get a monochrome output, except when I set
GRCHAN=1 in which case I get nothing.  I can make channel 1
show up before or after running the task with the verb GRON, but
later if I rerun the task, channel 1 is not there again.

The second problem I'm having is that with multiple pages of plots,
when I hit button B or C to continue the plotting, the task doesn't
clear the graphic from the TV and instead overwrites what was
previously there.  Attached is a screenshot of the AIPS TV showing
both problems.

These two problems only seem to occur on my PPC Mac (OSX 10.4.11)
with the 31DEC08 version of AIPS that was updated last night.  I  
tried a few
tasks on one of the Linux machines that also ran the MNJ last night and
all appears normal.  If I switch back to the 31DEC07 version on my
Mac, again all of the graphics channels appear to be normal.

Maybe I have something set incorrectly.  I tried fiddling with  
RESTORE 0,
GRCHAN, GRON, and GROFF but it was no help.
