BOXES must have a boxfile in order to know where the facets are so that 
it can set cell positions.  I can think of no good way to tell IMAGR to 
make images but then never look at them (i.e. to have no boxes in them).
The default is the 1012 1012 that you see in the file but that also 
controls the actual IMSIZE used.  I am unclear if IMAGR will let you get 
down to no boxes in a facet - perhaps.  You could always fill the file with
n -1  1 512 513
by hand with a separate line for every n.  A lower flux level in the 
NVSS might get you more sources too.
