Thanks.
I have an external program which conflates the standard AIPS
clean components together and stores them at their centroid.
I had thought this would be more accurate than just summing
up at the local peak. I will remedy this to output an integer.

Will CALIB also baulk at fractional pixel locations? It did not
output any error messages but ....
