[daip] Problems with install classic aips

Hi,

I installed binaries on single intel imac with leopard.  Appeared to  
install ok, but
designated 162 in host.list.  During that session seemed to start ok.
but after shutting terminal down and rebooting next day, terminal  
number is
now 142 and this keeps changing on reboot.  So aips can't find host  
and won't start.
What is solution here?
