Amy's answer covres things sort of.  A RUN file that is simply a
script may be of any arbitrary length.  A RUN file that is used to
compile procedures will run into limitations.  If, in this proc mode,
it is run several times, then the POPS memory will get exhausted.  It
is important to COMPRESS the POPS memory (see verb CORE) before and
after recompiling procs.  The recompilation causes wasted POPS memory.
