[daip] POSSM hangs

I am a bit perplexed - I tried the 1st data set I stumbled on and it
seemed to hang - but it did with version new also.  The latest one I
found with only a modicum of data is working well.  What adverbs did
you use exactly?  Almost with this task is unsafe - also I should see
the IMHEADER.
