[daip] Flagging

Hi,

I've noticed that with the recent update I did of AIPS the programs such
as TVFLG and SPFLG always seem to create new tables. Is there a way to
force it not to do this? I read the changes log and see why this was done
but I like to control my flag tables in a way that for example FG 1 is a
master table and then FG 2 and up are test tables that are used to try out
various (often useless) flagging tricks on the low frequency data. Those
tricks that work are then applied to FG 1 which is always kept as my best
table. The new scheme will need a lot more bookkeeping on my part to know
where the good flags are and where the failed ones fall. This new
table creating can also get out of hand when one starts flagging a
large low frequency data set a little at a time, what is the
maximum number of tables of a particular type we can have? Cheers,

 								Tracy
