I have discovered the error and the fix will be in tomorrow's MNJ.  It
had to do with handling the absolute value of the clipping (a
subscript was not incremented), so it clipped on value not absolute
value.  This points out that your negative flux is quite substantial
(-2 Jy in the presence of 5 Jy of positive flux).
