I tried this is a variety of ways and it all seemed to work.  Listing
the output FG table gave what would be expected and re-running EDITR
with that FG table gave spaces where they should be.  I don't know
what went wrong in your case - I found that the CROWDED display and
the setting of IF and polarization could be confusing.
