I am unable to reproduce your problem.  When I use CLCAL with OPCODE
'MERG' so that I am not confused by the interaction with the CL table
but just look at a smoothed SN table, I see the MWF doing about what
one would expect.  The DOBTW parameter is important if there is more
than 1 cal source in the file.  It will not use one source to temper
another unless dobtw is > 0.
