The FRING thing is fairly simple.  It finds solutions over a SOLINT
but then shifts the time some fraction of SOLINT and does another
SOLINT solution.  These solutions are not linked in any other way.
They jsut go into the SN table as always.

The documentation is written these days by programmers and no one else
helps so it is likely to be written by people to whom the intention is
obvious rather than from a user point of view.  A systematic problem
given the politics.
