On my Windows laptop (nenya) I am running Linux under vmware Under Linux, I remotely log on to imager-b where my data are, and then proceed to run aips. I can access the data, but the TV and the graphics windows do not appear; in fact, at start- up AIPS tells me it cannot open the display nenya-vml:0. Thanks for any advice, Gustaaf
