[daip] Problem with opening TV in AIPS

We ask because Macs have odd X windows configurations.

For Linux our system guru says:

OK, there's something funny with the X11 authorization. He can try  
xhost +localhost or xhost +galaxy if one of those doesn't work then  
plain old xhost + should work.  If he's ssh'ing in from another  
machine then he needs to have the 

ForwardX11 yes

set in his ssh config file.
