[daip] A problem with compiling CL2HF for $ARCH=LINUX with g77 ver. 3.4.4

Dear Eric et al.

We began to use a new whizz-bang 2xOpteron box under Red Hat 3.4.4-2 as an
AIPS workhorse at our site. The installation of AIPS ran smoothly except for
g77 failure to compile one task: CL2HF. OK, it is most likely the compiler
bug but just in case you know a quick-and-dirty hack to get around this we
would be grateful for a piece of advice.

We are using g77 version 3.4.4 configured with the following options:

$ g77 -v
