You could change the headers to have a stokes value of 1.0 (I).
(PUTHEAD with keyw='CRVALn'; KEYV=1,0 (n is the axis number of the
Stokes axis).

Note that keeping the Stokes together, forcing there always to be both
RR and LL, and forcing CALIB to do one solution for the 2 does useful
things with squint.
