    The function gethostbyaddr is failing to convert your Ip address
into the string blackhole.  This suggests that your name server is not
functioning to provides names for IP addresses.

Why are you interested in compilers?  The binary versions of AIPS run
faster on Linux and Mac by quite a bit.  Only if you develop your own
code for AIPS do you need local compilers.
