I do not follow your request or argument.  To add together two images
from different pointings one must make a primary beam correction to
each.  One could do that before FLATN but it is better to allow FLATN
to do it.  The addition is done correctly by noise, assuming that the
noise is constant in the uncorrected images and given by NOISE.
