[daip] Install Trouble...

When trying to install AIPS on my Sun Solaris Workstation, running 
install.pl it spends a long time downloading and unpacking files and 
then gets to...

cp: cannot access SOL/SYSTEM/MASTER/*
UPDCONFIG: No such file or directory
AipsWiz:                --done

Then it has long messages about the midnight job... then

sh: /astro/home/jnspci/bin/31DEC07/SOL/SYSTEM/MUTT/CDVER.SH
AipsWiz: Not good; no 
/astro/home/jnspci/bin/31DEC07/SOL/SYSTEM/MUTT/UPDCONFIG found; did 
MAKE.BMNJ fail?
AipsWis: You should investigate this.

Then says its going to start FILAIP/POPSGN... But..

Cannot find /astro/home/jnspci/bin/31DEC07/SOL/LOAD/FILAIP.EXE

then tells me a bunch of other stuff to try by hand (which also doesnt work)

and ends with an
Abandoning Ship!

Any ideas of what to try?
