[daip] AIPS Installation !

Dear sir,

I plan AIPS installation on an Operating System 'Cent OS'.

I will be grateful to you if you could kindly let me know if you expect
any problems with this installation on 'Cent OS'. Or should I altogether
discard this OS for AIPS installation ?
Also, I will be very happy to have your recommendations about 
the AIPS versions. Which version of AIPS would you recommend me ? 

I will wait for your response before proceeding with the installation.
