You are using an option in CCEDT that I did not even know existed when
I was working on it last year.  The code that I found there was I
though very bad and so I made major changes in it which I debugged
carefully.  It seems that the bad code works for your data while the
new code goes into infinite loops of different sorts depending on
whether the input is your initial CC file or the highest one of the
split up files.

I will look at this but it may take time.
