[daip] CONV issue - fails on large images

I have tried CONVL on your 8K image (actually then one for SDCLN) and
it works fine in both a GNU compiler and Intel optimized compiler (the
one you use) version.  Oddly the correct scratch file size is 8 times
the size indicated in the error messages you sent.  Did you set some
adverbs such as BLC and TRC?  I noted that you set BMAJ and not BMIN
so I tried with and without that and there was no difference.
Otherwise I cannot think what to test.
