It is probably nicer to have SYSTEM append to SYSOUT versus 
create/overwrite the file. I know my way around it (which is
elaborate) so this is a low priority suggestion
A really nice way would be to include an opcode: NEW/ADD

in AU3B.FOR, line 161:

      COMMND = SYSCOM(:IBVOL) // ' > ' // SYSOUT
suggested
      COMMND = SYSCOM(:IBVOL) // ' >> ' // SYSOUT

(and then also a new description in the help file)
