Hmmm. Don't see anything obviously wrong here...

torgo:/Users/aips/31DEC05/MACPPC/UPDATE jmangum$ cd $SYSLOCAL
torgo:/Users/aips/31DEC05/MACPPC/SYSTEM/NRAOCV jmangum$ more UPDCONFIG
# Created by MAKE.MNJ on Tue Oct 11 15:06:53 GMT 2005
cvscmd=/usr/bin/cvs
ClientName=torgo
MailList=jmangum
ErrorList=jmangum,aipsmgr at nrao.edu
torgo:/Users/aips/31DEC05/MACPPC/SYSTEM/NRAOCV jmangum$

One guess...is the ClientName case-sensitive? For reasons that I don't
understand, at some system level my HOST is set to "TORGO", instead of
"torgo". Note that I would rather set it properly at the system level
than hack UPDCONFIG to make it work.

Cheers,

Jeff
