    These files were deleted so this is just the report of that.

    This is wierd and I will try to find out what is happening.  I see
that there is a $AIPS_ROOT/TEXT/UPDATE directory here in CV with a CVS
directory below it.  The directory is otherwise empty and I see no
reason for it to exist.  It is however not in th master area at all -
so where does it come from and how?????  You could go to
$AIPS_ROOT/TEXT and do an rmdir UPDATE.  This would probably cause
these error messages to go away.

    This is an error from your system suggesting that mail is not set
up correctly to mail a report to the addresses in the
$SYSLOCAL/UPDCONFIG file.  You might want to fix that to get the
e-mail reports.
