Hi Laurent,

You should send aips questions to daip at nrao.edu, the analysts are not 
AIPS experts.  I have tried what you describe on an dataset of my own 
and it flagged the first channel of IF 4 fine.  Could you send me all 
your inputs for UVFLG and POSSM? I will load my copy of the data and see 
what I can figure out.

This is a new installation of AIPS?  What type of machine are you on and 
what compiler did you use?
