SBCOR is designed for data recorded with VLBA terminals.  Why do
you want to use it?

I am not sure what you mean by "first fring", is this the intrumental
phase calibration.  The answer is that, yes, the phases should be
flat over the same time of the fringe fit.  Although, I can think of
instances where this would not be true.  If you are having a problem
please send more details, including the inputs you used for FRING and
CLCAL.
