[daip] AIPS on a linux cluster

Dear AIPS folks,

I am working on a huge VLBA data set, and the desktop I currently use is 
taking a long time to perform some AIPS tasks. My desktop is LINUX pc, 
with 2.8 GHz pentium 4 processor and 1 Gb memory.

Here at Arecibo, we have a LINUX cluster with 5  or so linux boxes. Each 
pc in the cluster has a dual 2.4 GHz processor and 2 Gb memory.

My question to you is if I can use AIPS on a linux cluster to shorten 
the data reduction time? If so, is there something specific that needs 
to be done in AIPS setup or any other place to use the cluster?
