To Whom It May Concern,

We are a copyright agent for The Society for the Promotion of the University
of the Air (SPUA), a government-subsidized foundation in Tokyo which
produces textbooks for high-quality educational TV programs for broadcasting
throughout Japan.

SPUA plans to publish a textbook in Japanese, titled "Evolving Space" for
its academic year beginning April 2005. It will publish 1,000 copies, priced
at 2,100 Japanese yen,  in the first year.

In this textbook, SPUA intends to use an image (Sagittarius A - filamentary
structure) shown in you website -- 
http://www.nrao.edu/imagegallery/php/level3.php?id=12. Please see our
attached file.

It would be very much appreciated if you could give your permission to SPUA
and show us your terms and conditions for republications of these figures.
